I’m sure you’ve heard of DNA before. It’s the building block of every living thing on earth. It's the chemical that determines things like your height, hair and eye color – in fact all your physical characteristics.  

You’ve also heard about DNA testing – where a parent checks their DNA against the child’s DNA to guarantee they are in fact related. This test is fool proof since our physical DNA is hereditary, that is, it comes from our parents and grand parents. (By the way, they do say that insanity is also hereditary - apparently we get it from your kids!)

Your Prosperity DNA is both similar to and different from your physical DNA. 

They are similar in that you can’t “change” your DNA. For example while you can color your hair it will always return to its natural color. That’s exactly the same with your prosperity DNA. It’s yours for life – a very good reason to fall in love with it. 

To show you how powerful this is let me tell you a story about Patrick. He lost two fingers on his right hand at the age of 1. Since then he has done everything with his left hand and is almost a natural.

I say almost because whenever he learns a new sport or physical activity he starts by trying with his left hand, left handed golf clubs, left handed serve in tennis and so on. But no matter what he does he is always uncomfortable – until he uses his right. Then its smooth sailing. 48 years and his mind insists he is a right hander! That's how powerful our prosperity DNA is!

You see it's exactly the same with your prosperity DNA. You can take on any skill, job or relationship you want and with enough practice you can become proficient.

But you’ll never, ever reach your true potential that you would if you used your natural “swing” – the swing built into your Prosperity DNA.

This brings me to another common question

A moment ago I used the example of golf to explain the natural “swing” or flow.

Now some people like Greg (The shark) Norman gain their prosperity by using their prosperityDNA, in his case that of a “Craftsman”, to become a professional sportsman and wheeler dealer.

Other people, for example Bill Gates use their “Architect” profile to create wealth.

You notice how each has their own prosperity DNA and therefore their own path to wealth.

Somehow I doubt Bill Gates would have made it as professional golfer and Greg Norman doesn’t show any signs of creating a new software program.

So you see, the prosperity DNA determines your path to wealth and prosperity.

Your prosperity DNA is different to your physical characteristic DNA in one critical way. It is in no way linked to your parents. This explains why parents are sometimes confused when their child behaves differently and why we sometimes hear a parent say “why can’t you be more like your sister/brother”. 

Think of your prosperity DNA as two wheels, one inside the other.  On each wheel there are 8 possible outcomes. Both wheels are spun and the result determines your Prosperity DNA.  Now if you find this a little hard to accept just think about the different innate talents people you know have, or, if you are an avid book reader, think about why "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus."

Now here's the good news - every single player wins a prize.

No one Prosperity DNA is better than another. They are simply different games that are played. 

Now here's the not so good news - we weren't born with an instruction manual. 

If we were to have an instruction manual what would you think it would come with?

You'd hope it would include things like

• What it is that I am very good at
• How can I best use those natural talents and abilities
• Who else do I need to team with to make the best use of my skills
• When are these skills are best used
• Why I do the things I do

Now nature isn't cruel. Birds don't have an instruction manual either but they seem to be able to learn to fly. 

Why should we be any different?

Actually we aren't - provided we are left to our own devices we would use our natural "swing" to achieve everything we want.

But as usual we aren't happy with nature and, as I said before, people in our environment attempt to mould us into replicas of their own prosperity DNA (believing it to be superior) or more likely the hybrid Prosperity DNA they were molded into. 

In the end you are left with immense feelings of guilt and inadequacy trying to be someone that everyone else wants you to be. And that's why we need a helping hand to rediscover our unique profile.

Now there are a lot of personality tests but they tend to suffer from the same 2 limitations.

Firstly, they tell you who are being not what your prosperity DNA is.

Let me explain it this way:

Prosperity DNA + Environmental Conditioning = Personality.

It is your Prosperity DNA you need to use not your personality.

If you want to know your personality profile ask the people around you - I'm sure they'll be only too happy to tell you all the things they do, and don't, like about you. (By the way, we discuss the contrast between your prosperity DNA and your personality during our one hour coaching session or at the workshop).

The second benefit of profiling is that it answers the question - so what now what? It is little use knowing you have been sitting on your prosperity DNA for years but what's the point of information if you don't find a use for it.

Again this is why I insist you attend a workshop or participate in a one hour coaching program

Think of each DNA category as a different kind sport that can be played. Out of the 21 available there is one that suits you to a T. For example you might be a natural swimmer. But if you are living your life as say a tennis player then you are always going to be stressed out, constantly searching for something you sense is missing. There’s a fairly simple test to see if you are in your flow or not. You are out of your flow if you find yourself:  

• feeling that everything you do is meaningless, or
• “Retaliating” against people around you or going out on a “big” night, or
• feeling left out or having other people around you behaving irresponsibly, or
• obsessing and getting lost in the details of a project you are working on

If you find yourself in one of these “moods” I strongly recommend you discover your profile and take action to get into your “swing”.

Throughout this web site you'll notice that I stress all the different ways you can be prosperous - good health, joyful relationships, solid family and financial wealth and so on.

I tend to leave financial wealth till last.

Why? 

It has been my experience that people use money as a substitute for all the other ways they aren't prosperous. It's like they are saying, since I can't have these other things I'll surround myself with material possessions to fill the void.

Now I'm not saying that being wealthy isn't an element of being prosperous. It just doesn't fill the emptiness we feel when we are not being ourselves!

Since I'm talking about money, let me share another fact with you. 

It seems incredible, but by knowing your Prosperity DNA you can work less and earn more!

The beauty of knowing your prosperity is that you’ll never have to work another day in your life.

Before you laugh let me explain.

The only difference between work and play is that working means doing things you don’t enjoy and play is about doing things you do enjoy.

But what if you could earn money by doing things you enjoy. Whether that’s having coffee and talking with people, solving problems, enjoying art, using technical equipment, whatever.
